Bessie is a seasoned financial executive, with expertise in financial reporting, finance operations, and regulatory compliance.
At NewView Capital, Bessie acts as the financial strategic lead, guiding day-to-day finance, accounting, and compliance for the firm. She is also responsible for the design and oversight of the infrastructure required to support NVC’s growing portfolio of investments and global investor base.
Prior to joining NVC, Bessie was the Director of Finance at AI Fund, where she led the firm’s financial functions and provided operational and financial guidance to portfolio companies. Before AI Fund, she was a controller at Greenoaks and a finance manager at Venrock. Bessie started her professional career with Ernst & Young, where she led an audit team serving global financial clients in the asset management industry. Bessie holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting from the University of British Columbia.
In her free time, Bessie enjoys carving up black diamond slopes on her snowboard, winding down in the evening with calming yoga, and spending time with her family.
